The April school holidays are synonymous with one thing – Easter! And, we’re very excited to announce that the Easter Bunny himself will be making a special visit to the children of Diamond Creek on the 16th of April. Families from all communities and neighbourhoods are welcome, and there is no cost to participate in this joyous event. Come down and say hello – you might even get a special treat! 

  • The Annual Diamond Creek Easter Egg Hunt

The 16th of April is a special day in Diamond Creek this year! As well as a visit from the Easter Bunny, we’re delighted to host the annual Easter Egg Hunt once again. Come on down between 11 am and 2 pm to hop around the shops and collect some delicious chocolatey treats. This event is child friendly and pet friendly, so bring the whole family along for a few hours of fun. Offering nature-inspired play equipment and activities for kids of all ages, it’s the ideal spot for family fun these school holidays. Why not visit the Tram Cafe or have a picnic on the green grass while the kids explore the playspace for hours of fun. 

  • Edendale Farm 

Edendale Farm is the perfect place to visit during any school holiday! This April break, Edendale Farm is hosting two free events for local families:

Pebble Pals 

Tuesday April 12, 10am – 12pm – free. 

Join Pebble Pals to create your very own pebble painted friend. Ideal for children aged 3 to 10, this activity uses non-toxic paints that can be washed off clothes. All equipment is provided, so all you have to do is turn up and paint! 

Clay Play  

Friday April 22, 12.30pm – 2.30pm  – free. 

Designed for kids aged 3 to 10, this free activity involves building an object or bowl out of clay. The activity takes about 30 minutes to create plus 30 minutes to dry, so keep this in mind when planning your visit.
