Nillumbik Youth Hub is a free, welcoming space in the heart of Diamond Creek for young people aged 12 to 25 from across the Nillumbik community. Run by Nillumbik Shire Council, the Hub is a safe place to hang out, get involved, access support and connect with others.
Programs and activities:
• Drop-in program – a relaxed space to socialise, play games and unwind
• Art Club – creative sessions and hands-on workshops
• School holiday programs and activities
• Nillumbeats – youth music events and a short film festival
• Rainbow Events for LGBTIQA+ young people
• Youth Council and Youth Summit – have your say and help lead local change
Support and information:
The Hub helps young people connect with services across mental health and wellbeing, LGBTIQA+ support, housing and homelessness, education and employment, disability, and legal help, with dedicated support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and those affected by family violence.
