Diamond Creek’s Local Favorites 2026

1. The Campaign

“Diamond Creek’s Choice” (the “Campaign”) is a community-based popularity award series organised by the Diamond Creek Traders Association (the “Organiser”). The purpose of the campaign is to celebrate and promote local businesses within the Diamond Creek shopping precinct.

2. Voting Period

The Campaign runs from Monday, June 1, 2026, to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

• Week 1 (Best Morning Fuel): June 1 – June 7

• Week 2 (Best Winter Warmer): June 8 – June 14

• Week 3 (Best Beauty & Vibe): June 15 – June 21

• Week 4 (Best Local Find): June 22 – June 28

3. Eligibility

• For Voters: Voting is open to all members of the public. Voters must provide a valid email address to verify their vote.

• For Businesses: Only businesses located within the Diamond Creek precinct (click here for eligible businesses) and who are current members of the Diamond Creek Traders Association are eligible to be nominated and win.

4. How to Vote

• Step 1: Nominations are collected via the Diamond Creek Shopping social media channels (Instagram/Facebook) each Monday and Tuesday.

• Step 2: A shortlist of finalists will be uploaded to the official voting page: diamondcreekshopping.com.au/diamond-creeks-choice-2026/

• Step 3: The public may cast their vote for their favourite business in the active category.

• Limit: Strictly one (1) vote per person, per category, per week. Duplicate votes using the same email address will be disqualified.

5. Selection of Winners

• The business with the highest number of verified votes at the end of each weekly voting period (midnight each Saturday) will be declared the winner for that category.

• Winners will be announced on the Diamond Creek Shopping social media channels every Sunday.

• In the event of a tie, the Diamond Creek Traders Association committee will have the final casting vote.

6. Prizes

“Diamond Creek’s Choice” is a prestige-based award. Winners will receive:

• An official, framed Creek’s Choice 2026 Winner Certificate.

• A digital “Winner’s Badge” for use on social media and digital platforms.

• A permanent listing on the Diamond Creek Shopping “Honour Roll” webpage.

• There is no cash prize or monetary alternative.

7. Privacy & Data Collection

By participating in the voting process, you agree to provide your email address.

• The Diamond Creek Traders Association will use this data to verify the integrity of the vote.

• If you “Opt-In” via the checkbox on the voting form, your email will be added to the Diamond Creek Shopping community newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.

• We will never sell or share your data with third parties.

8. General Conditions

• The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any votes that appear to be generated by bots, scripts, or fraudulent email accounts.

• The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the Campaign or these terms and conditions without notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

• The committee’s decision regarding winners and business eligibility is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
