The Nillumbik Pet Expo is a fun-filled day out for both two and four-legged visitors.
The Pet Expo promotes responsible pet ownership and the services and activities relating to pets in the Shire and beyond.
This vibrant event celebrates our furry and feathered companions and has plenty to keep them happy and healthy, including:
- displays and demonstrations
- nutritional and grooming advice
- obedience training
- education, and much more
It is one of Council’s largest and longest-running events, attracting more than 3,000 people each year.
In 2026, Pet Expo will be held on Sunday 11 October.

If your pet-related business, animal rescue group or charity is interested in having a stall at the 2026 Pet Expo, please read our Stallholder Guide(PDF, 477KB) and then complete an expression of interest form.
Expressions of interest open on Monday 27 July 2026, and will close on Monday 17 August 2026.
