Council’s Emergency Management team is delivering a series of preparedness pop-ups across the community. Each pop-up offers practical tips, resources, and conversations tailored to local needs.
The next preparedness pop-up, delivered in partnership with the Victoria Police and The Salvation Army, will focus on e-bike and e-scooter safety.
You will have the opportunity to speak with Council staff and local police officers, ask questions, and discuss any concerns in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Join us to learn about power and speed limits, pedal requirements, and other key compliance standards. Find out how to determine whether a device meets Victorian regulatory requirements, and where to access further information and resources.
You can also access information on the safe storage, charging, and disposal of lithium-ion batteries to help reduce the risk of fire.
Members of The Salvation Army will provide a free sausage sizzle and be on hand for emotional support.
No bookings required. We’ll see you there.
